The tech stack I have in mind is Node.js for the backend and React for the frontend, but if you can suggest a comparable JavaScript-based framework that keeps deployment straightforward, I’m open to hearing it. Core features I need you to build: • Browsable catalogue showing each piece of equipment with photos, detailed specs, day-rate pricing and real-time availability. • An interactive calendar that lets customers pick their rental dates, see instant price calculations, and complete a booking in one flow. • Secure checkout through both Stripe and PayPal. • Email-and-password authentication only (no social logins). • English and Spanish localisation from the start, with an easy path to add more languages later. • A professional, corporate-style UI that feels trustworthy to contractors and project managers—think clean lines, strong typography and intuitive navigation. • A consolidated admin dashboard where I can add or edit equipment, block out dates for maintenance, adjust pricing tiers and view or modify bookings on the fly. By the end of the project I expect a fully functional, thoroughly tested web app ready to deploy to my own hosting environment (AWS or similar). Source code should be clean, documented and pushed to a Git repo I provide, with environment variables and build instructions clearly outlined.
