Overview Tienda TIC is a B2B marketplace that connects technology providers, integrators, and buyers across Latin America. The goal is to create a sustainable digital ecosystem where companies and professionals can buy and sell new, used, or refurbished tech equipment, promoting a circular economy and the reuse of technology. We are looking for an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer (or team) to build the first MVP phase of our marketplace: a multi-vendor platform with integrated payments, logistics, invoicing, AI chat, and customer support automation. Main Objective Develop the first operational version of Tienda TIC Marketplace (MVP) hosted at tienda.tiendatic.com, enabling direct transactions between sellers and buyers without Tienda TIC managing inventory, with automation for payments, logistics, invoices, and post-sale support. Core Functionalities 1. Marketplace Platform • CMS: WordPress • eCommerce Framework: WooCommerce • Multi-vendor system: Dokan Pro or WCFM Marketplace • Theme: responsive and customizable (Astra, Flatsome, or compatible) • Categories: New, Used, Refurbished, Recycled • Each user (buyer/seller) has a personal dashboard to manage products, orders, and invoices. 2. Payments and Invoicing • Main Payment Gateway: MercadoPago (split payments enabled for commissions 5–12%). • Automatic confirmation of payments via MercadoPago Webhook. • Electronic invoicing: Integration with Siigo ERP (Colombia) through API REST. • Each confirmed payment triggers automatic invoice creation and delivery via email. • Compliance with DIAN regulations. 3. Logistics & Shipping • Integration with multiple transport companies: ENVIA (main), Coordinadora, Servientrega, Interrapidísimo, Deprisa. • Real-time shipping cost quotes, label generation, and tracking updates visible to buyer and seller. • Webhook notifications for shipping status (“Sent”, “In transit”, “Delivered”). • Payment released to the seller only after delivery confirmation. 4. Communication & Support • WhatsApp Business integration for customer support, PQR, guarantees, and returns. • Integrated ticket system (Fluent Support or WSForm). • AI Chat (pre-sales assistant) powered by AI Engine or Chatbase, trained with the product catalog to answer technical questions and guide buyers. • Automatic notifications (email + WhatsApp) for order updates and support cases. 5. Product Management • Vendors can publish, edit, or delete their products directly. • Admin moderation required before products go live. • Bulk upload of products via Excel (.xlsx) – up to 2,000 items simultaneously using WP All Import or similar. • Fields include: SKU, name, description, price, stock, brand, and condition. • Stock automatically updated after each sale. 6. Security & Compliance • SSL throughout the site. • Security plugins: Wordfence Security or iThemes Security. • Backup plugin: UpdraftPlus. • SEO plugin: RankMath. • Compliance with Colombia’s Data Protection Law (Habeas Data – Ley 1581). • Visible legal documents: Terms & Conditions, Warranty Policy, Sales & Purchase Policies. No inventory managed by Tienda TIC. All logistics and payments handled directly between buyer and seller. Platform must be scalable for future phases (training, trade-in, and sustainability programs).
