I’m in the middle of a short-form film project and now need several polished sequences that blend 2-D animation with fully rendered 3-D elements. The end goal is screen-ready footage that feels seamless, energetic, and cinematic. Scope of work The shots call for dramatic explosions or fire bursts alongside fantasy creatures that interact convincingly with practical plates. Because I don’t yet have a storyboard, I’ll rely on your input during previz and shot planning—everything from rough thumbnails through layout and blocking. What I’m expecting • Previsualization that locks camera moves, timing, and scale • Asset creation or kitbashing for the creatures, plus texturing, rigging, and animation • Simulated fire/explosion passes with realistic lighting and smoke interaction • 2-D elements or matte-painted layers to tie the composite together • Final compositing (preferably in Nuke, After Effects, or Fusion) delivered as 4K ProRes 4444 files • Source project files neatly organized for any future tweaks Acceptance criteria The composite must hold up in a theatrical-scale projection with no visible edges, mismatched color shifts, or aliasing. Dynamic range should match the live-action plates, and all FX elements need motion-blur consistency at 24 fps. If you’re comfortable juggling Maya/Blender/Houdini for sims and a pro-level compositor for the final grade—and can help shape the visual plan from the ground up—I’d love to see your reel and hear how quickly you could turn around a first animatic. For demo 1 min if work perfect need 1 hr animation.
