I already have an open-source Android repository that creates indoor routes without LiDAR scans or pre-made floor-maps. What I need now is a tailored, production-ready version that works specifically inside my college buildings and is friendly to students with disabilities. The job centres on three upgrades: • Accessibility. Add reliable voice commands, prominent directional arrows overlayed in AR, and subtle but clear haptic feedback at each decision point. Every function should be operable hands-free and remain readable in low-vision scenarios (high-contrast palettes, scalable text). • Campus layout customisation. Replace the sample environment with our actual building geometry and room lists, so a user can pick any classroom, lab or office and receive turn-by-turn guidance. No LiDAR or floor plans are available, so the existing path-creation logic must stay intact while you map the spaces through code or lightweight markers. • User-interface polish. Streamline the menu flow, tidy up onboarding, and brand the app with our college colours and icon set while keeping performance smooth on mid-range Android hardware. Deliverables 1. Updated source code pushed to a private GitHub fork with clear commit history 2. Signed debug APK for real-device testing plus instructions for release build in Android Studio (ARCore/Unity/AR Foundation stack is fine) 3. Short setup guide and README showing how to add new rooms or buildings, and where voice, haptic or visual parameters can be tweaked 4. Quick demo video walking through one full route highlighting the new accessibility features Acceptance criteria: the app must calculate and display a route between any two mapped points on campus, respond accurately to the “start navigation”, “next step”, and “cancel” voice commands, vibrate on each turn, and keep directional arrows visible even in glare or low-light conditions.
