I have a set of high-resolution STL models—each between 50 MB and 500 MB—that must be turned into clean, production-ready STEP files for downstream manufacturing. No geometry tweaks or cosmetic changes are needed; the goal is a faithful, watertight translation that machining partners can open in SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar CAD platforms without extra repair work. We need the files converted for a foundry to produce and print molds. 3 files need to be converted. You’ll be working with large meshes, so an efficient workflow (e.g., using SolidWorks Premium, Fusion 360, or SpaceClaim with fine-tuned import settings) is essential to avoid lost detail or bloated file sizes.
