Project Description We want to build a modern and fair online Voting Compass — a tool that helps users find which political party best represents their views. The goal is to move beyond traditional one-sided questionnaires and instead focus on real, current issues that affect people today (for example housing, migration, healthcare, climate, and economy). The project should be built using PHP and MySQL, and it must be easy to update with new themes, statements, and party positions. --- Core Features 1. Homepage showing the main topics (themes) 2. Questions page where users answer political statements: Agree / Neutral / Disagree 3. Results page that shows how much each party matches the user Example: “Party X – 82% match” 4. Database connection (MySQL) Tables for themes, statements, parties, and party positions 5. Admin section (optional / phase 2) Add, edit, or delete statements and party positions 6. Modern and responsive design (HTML/CSS/Bootstrap) 7. Multilingual option (Dutch / English) --- Goal To create a transparent, data-driven, and fair voting compass focused on real problems instead of slogans.
