I’m building a native Android application, fully localized in Arabic and English, that makes daily Qur’an memorisation structured, gentle, and engaging. Core flow • Each day the user selects one or more verses (āyāt). The app then pushes colourful, vibrant notifications—exactly as many times as the user specifies—throughout the day. The notification sound must be short Qur’anic-recitation snippets. • After ʿIshāʾ the app prompts the user to type what was memorised. No audio analysis is needed; concise on-screen text feedback is enough. • The cycle repeats for six days, and on the seventh day the user reviews everything learnt that week in a single recitation prompt. Key requirements • Android-native codebase with an Arabic ↔ English toggle from the first screen. • Bright, lively UI that follows Material Design yet keeps the colourful, vibrant theme. RTL rendering must be flawless in Arabic. • Customisable notification scheduler (user sets verses, repetition count, and preferred hours). • Local persistence for memorisation progress so data stays offline. • Simple stats page: verses covered, days streak, and weekly review status. • Clean architecture and well-commented code so future SRS expansion (audio feedback or spaced-repetition) is straightforward. Deliverables 1. Complete Android Studio project (Kotlin or Java) ready for release. 2. All string resources externalised for translation. 3. One-page setup guide plus APK for testing. 4. Source-controlled repository with clear commit history. Acceptance I will install the APK, switch languages, schedule notifications, and walk through a full seven-day mock run. All text prompts, colourful UI elements, and Qur’anic notification tones must behave exactly as described.
