What I now need is the server-side engine that turns this static page into a manageable website. Core requirements • Secure user authentication built around standard email-and-password login, including registration, hashed password storage, “forgot password”, and a simple admin access. • A lightweight CMS that lets the client edit existing text blocks and headings, upload/reorder images and other media, and publish changes instantly. Inline or WYSIWYG editing is fine as long as it’s intuitive. Project scope Any technology is fine, as long as it gets the job done. WordPress would seem to be ideal, but feel free to use whatever you prefer. Deliverables 1. Complete backend source code, clearly organised. 2. Database migration or SQL script. 3. Admin/back-office interface styled simply to match the existing site. 4. Deployment instructions plus brief user guide (PDF or Markdown). 5. A short hand-over call or screen-share to walk through the CMS. Acceptance criteria • New content saved through the CMS appears on the live page without breaking the layout. • Image uploads under 2 MB are accepted and optimised server-side. • All authentication routes are protected against unauthorised access and basic security tests pass (CSRF, XSS, SQL injection). • Code runs on a standard server with no proprietary dependencies. Everything visual is ready; the job is entirely about functionality and clean integration. The client is a musical artist, and the website is in European Portuguese.
