The goal is to build a straightforward Android application where event organisers can register, browse my consulting slots, and secure a booking directly from their phones. The app deals exclusively with consulting-related events, so the flow is simpler than a full-scale ticketing platform: an organiser chooses an available session, submits the request, and receives confirmation from the consultant side. Only two user roles are needed. Organisers manage their own profile, view upcoming consulting sessions, and edit or cancel a booking before a configurable cut-off time. On the consultant side, I should be able to publish new time slots, adjust capacity, confirm or decline requests, and message the organiser if details change. A light dashboard showing upcoming sessions and basic analytics (total bookings, cancellations, utilisation rate) is enough at launch. Core features expected: secure sign-up/log-in, profile management, real-time slot availability, calendar integration, push notifications, and an in-app chat so organiser and consultant stay in one channel. Basic payment capture is optional for the first release; if included, Stripe or Razorpay is fine. Deliverables I need to test before sign-off: • APK ready for Play Store submission, built in Kotlin or Java using Android Jetpack fundamentals • Commented source code pushed to a private Git repository • Simple Firebase or Node/Express backend with REST or GraphQL endpoints • One-page setup guide so I can redeploy the backend and change keys myself If the above sounds clear, let’s move forward—I’ll supply wireframes and branding as soon as development begins.
