Because this piece will be poured in metal (specifically aluminum), the model must account for draft angles, shrinkage, uniform wall thickness, and the usual gating and riser strategy that keeps porosity to a minimum. Once we begin, I’ll supply the current 3D geometry and the functional requirements. In return, I’m looking for: • A revised CAD model tailored for aluminum casting • A practical mold layout showing cores, gates, risers, and vents • A concise design note explaining your choices and the expected casting quality If you can add a quick solidification or flow simulation in MAGMASoft, SOLIDCast, or a similar tool, that would be an appreciated bonus but isn’t strictly required.
