I have a 65% keyboard concept that now needs a production-ready 3D model. The case will be milled from aerospace-grade aluminum (7075‑T6), so wall thicknesses, draft angles, and all machining clearances have to be spot-on; a single oversight could turn a full run into scrap. I have the main design completed. I’m looking for someone to work on minor adjustments to the board. (i.e. adding standoffs for the interior of the keyboard). I can provide the .stl file that needs to be adjusted. This board targets custom-build enthusiasts, which means tight tolerances, clean acoustic chambers, and interior geometry that welcomes foam or silicone dampening without rattles. The finished files should let any CNC house move straight to prototyping and then mass production. Deliverables I need from you • Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or equivalent) ~ Please choose one that works best for you. • Universal STEP/IGES plus STL for quick print checks • Manufacturing drawings with critical dimensions, tolerances, and surface-finish notes • Exploded view and renderings for marketing shots • Brief DfM report outlining how the design avoids common aluminum-milling pitfalls Timeline: everything wrapped within 1 1/2 month, including a round of revisions prompted by prototype feedback if necessary. When you respond, please include links or images of past aluminum keyboard cases—or similarly complex machined enclosures—describe your experience with aerospace alloys, and outline your modeling workflow in enough detail that I can see you’ve thought through tool paths, fixtures, and post-processing. A concise milestone plan is a plus. I’ll review portfolios, technical approach, and proposal depth before making a decision. Let’s make a flawless, enthusiast-grade case that a machinist can cut with confidence.
