I run two busy car repair centres and need a single piece of software that keeps every moving part of the business in sync—from parts purchasing to mechanic performance. Core workflow • Parts flow: I want to log every spare part from the moment it is purchased right through to the vehicle it ends up in. The system must update stock in real time and attach the cost to the relevant job card. • AI guidance: an automated inventory-recommendation engine should look at historical usage and tell us what to reorder, and roughly how many days it will take before we run out. • Job cards: staff should be able to open cards online or offline, attach photos of the vehicle on arrival, and capture all labour and materials. • Money matters: the platform needs full cash-book maintenance with simple invoice generation and payment-reminder features for credit customers. Daily profitability snapshots are essential. • Daily briefings: every evening I expect a concise summary pushed to my phone via mobile-app notification—covering revenue, parts consumed, outstanding payments, and any exceptions. • People & tools: I need individual performance metrics for each mechanic plus a register of every tool, whether owned by the garage or the employee, so that lost or damaged items can be reconciled at salary time. Deliverables 1. Web-based and offline-capable application (desktop or progressive web app) for both workshops, with role-based access (admin, front desk, stores, mechanics). 2. Mobile companion app (Android/iOS) to receive push briefings and allow photo capture for job cards. 3. AI module for inventory consumption forecasting integrated into the purchasing workflow. 4. Comprehensive reporting: cash book, profit & loss per job, staff KPIs, tool inventory. 5. Deployment guide and basic user training material. Acceptance criteria will be a live demo on my data from both centres showing: • a part purchased, reserved, issued and auto-reordered; • a complete job card opened offline, synced online with photos; • end-of-day notification on the mobile app matching system reports.
