I run a fast-growing Minecraft hosting service and our Discord ticket queue is getting busy. I’m looking for an advanced technician who can jump straight in and keep our players’ servers running smoothly. Day-to-day you will be inside Discord, diagnosing crashes, fixing performance drops, and guiding users through installs and configuration changes. Tickets range from “my Forge modpack won’t boot” to “how do I tweak Spigot timings?” so deep, hands-on knowledge of Forge, Spigot, and Fabric is essential. You’ll handle: • Troubleshooting server issues – reading logs, reproducing bugs, and applying fixes • Setting up and optimising mods, plugins, and entire modpacks • General technical support and player assistance, keeping explanations clear for less-technical users Because most questions are advanced, I need someone already comfortable with Java stack traces, allocation tuning, and cross-platform quirks (Windows, Linux, and sometimes Mac). Familiarity with popular panels such as Pterodactyl, Multicraft, or similar is a plus but not mandatory; you will, however, be expected to work entirely through Discord. Deliverables are simple: resolved tickets with satisfied customers and a brief note of the fix so the rest of the team can learn from it.
