I have a populated PCB ready for production and now need a clean, manufacturable 3 D enclosure around it. The housing must be modelled in ABS plastic and include three functional details from the outset: ventilation holes for heat dissipation, internal mounting brackets that line up with my board’s existing screw points, and reliable snap-fit closures so the unit assembles tool-free yet stays secure. I’ll share the board’s STEP file, keep-out zones, connector heights, and photos of the prototype once we start. From you I expect: • A parametric CAD model (preferred formats: STEP and native SolidWorks or Fusion 360) • STL file for quick print checks • A short drawing or PDF with the key dimensions, wall thickness, and recommended draft angles The design should be ready for both FDM prototyping and eventual ABS injection-mould tooling, so pay attention to undercuts, uniform wall thickness, and fillets on internal corners. If anything about the board layout raises concerns for airflow or snap strength, flag it early so we can iterate quickly. I’m easy to reach and can turn feedback within a day—let’s get this enclosure locked down and printable.
