The project is a ground-up Shopify build for a brand that sells physical products inspired by the golden era of bodybuilding. Everything—from color palette to typography—has to radiate an old-school 80s gym vibe: think neon accents, chrome touches, bold headline fonts and a gritty, motivational feel. A clean structure and modern UX are still essential; I want the site to feel nostalgic yet perform like any up-to-date ecommerce platform. Core requirements revolve around Shopify theme development or heavy customization, using Liquid, HTML/CSS and responsive design best practices. Product pages must support a native-looking customer reviews & ratings module (Loox, Judge.me or a custom Liquid section—whichever you prefer) so shoppers can instantly see social proof. Standard Shopify features such as secure checkout, multi-channel payments (klarna, paypal) inventory tracking and automated tax/shipping rules should be configured and tested. Deliverables • Custom Shopify theme reflecting the 80s gym aesthetic, fully responsive • Home, catalog, product, about and FAQ pages populated with placeholder content I can later replace • Customer reviews & ratings seamlessly integrated on product pages • Collections, tags and filter setup for easy browsing of physical products • Payment, shipping and tax settings ready for launch, plus basic SEO (titles, meta, alt text) • One-page setup guide or short Loom walk-through so I can add products, change banners and update colors without touching code Acceptance criteria: the storefront loads quickly, navigation flows intuitively on desktop and mobile, and every product template displays a working review widget. Hand-off is complete when theme & settings are transferred to my live store and I can replicate edits on my own. Timeline is flexible within reason; quality and authentic 80s flair take priority. If a specific premium theme license or app extension is needed, flag it early so I can approve the purchase. We already have a Logo, so the fonts used should be the ones from the Logo, if possible.
