I need a seasoned interior designer who not only understands aesthetics but also the day-to-day realities of a small-scale chocolate factory. The space is just 75 m² and has to function as both a welcoming retail corner for walk-in customers and an efficient production zone where roasting, cracking, winnowing, grinding and tempering, cooling and packaging happen smoothly and hygienically (bean to bar shop) What I’m after is a concept that expresses our artisanal brand while guiding visitors intuitively from the entrance to the showcase counter, without ever crossing the flow of staff moving cocoa, trays and finished product. That means smart zoning, sight-line management and a materials palette that satisfies food-safety standards yet still feels rich and indulgent—think wiped-clean stainless where it matters and warm finishes where it sells. I’ll supply the current floor plan, equipment list and basic brand guidelines. From you I expect: • A scaled 2D layout showing clear separation of retail and manufacturing pathways, work triangles and storage. • 3D visualisations or renders that nail the mood and help the team picture finishes, lighting and signage. • A furniture, fixture and equipment schedule—including specific chocolate-production machinery placement—plus a lighting plan that highlights products but stays practical for staff. • A concise document explaining how the proposed setup meets food-grade regulations and optimises workflow (temper, mould, cool, wrap, sell). Tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or 3ds Max are all fine—as long as final files are editable and dimensioned. If you have proven experience designing customer-facing production spaces (bakeries, gelato labs, micro-roasteries), please share that; it will speed up our decision. I’m ready to start as soon as I see a portfolio piece that convinces me you can balance function, hygiene and irresistible curb appeal in one compact footprint.
